Benefits of Window Tint Film CA

Window tinting offers a range of compelling benefits that enhance both the comfort and safety of your vehicle experience. With the application of window film, you can safeguard your privacy by preventing prying eyes from peering into your vehicle, ensuring a sense of personal space even when parked in busy areas. Furthermore, the installation of window film acts as a shield against harmful UV radiation, particularly crucial in protecting your children’s delicate eyes and skin from potential damage. On the road, the advantages persist, as the tinted windows effectively block out UV rays that might otherwise distort your vision, leading to safer and more confident driving. In the unfortunate event of a collision or attempted break-in, the film’s shatter-resistant properties help to mitigate the danger posed by shattered glass. Beyond utility, window tinting adds an element of style to your vehicle, granting it an authentic and captivating appearance that turns heads wherever you go.

Main Reasons People Tint Their Car Windows

Window tinting serves as a versatile solution to a multitude of issues, starting with the reduction of glare emanating from the sun’s blinding rays. Notably, window film offers an effective shield against the sun’s harmful rays, which are linked to skin cancer, providing an extra layer of protection. Moreover, the film’s glare-reducing capabilities extend to alleviating the annoyance and distraction caused by the headlights of other vehicles, particularly beneficial during night driving. This benefit becomes even more apparent for those traversing snowy terrains, as tinted windows counteract the sun’s reflection on ice and snow, enhancing overall visibility. By opting for window film, the need for costly polarized sunglasses specifically designed for driving diminishes, sparing your eyes from undue fatigue. Unlike polarized lenses that may impede night driving due to their dimming effect, window film maintains optimal visibility without compromising safety. With reduced eye strain and the absence of obtrusive glares, the path to safer driving becomes clearer. The advantages of window tinting, however, transcend glare control; they encompass effective heat filtration as well. When selecting window tint, be sure to opt for the finest thermal heat protection available, effectively minimizing the intrusion of solar heat through your windows.

XPEL Window Tint Film

Safety and Color Stability Like Never Before

XPEL™ Window Films can help insulate your windows against excessive heat and cold so that you can enjoy the beauty of natural light in comfort all year round.

The shades available in automotive window film are the most important to select. The shades you choose give your vehicle its overall look and its new appearance when the installation job is complete.

The film’s Darkness is measured by Visible Light Transmission (VLT). VLT means how much light the film allows to pass through the glass window. The lower the number (film reference number,) the darker the film, hence the more privacy you get when sitting inside your vehicle.

Most film manufacturers follow a standard Percentage of VLT. These specifications are listed further down on this page and may vary a percentage or two depending on the brand of window film selected.

Automotive Window Tint

Car window tint is amazing in that it adds both aesthetic style and practical value to your vehicle. The ultraviolet rays from the sun lead to excessive heat, glare, premature interior aging, and discoloring. Window tint adds a protective layer of security to your vehicle’s windows and prevents wandering eyes from looking inside your vehicle windows. XPEL Automotive window film keeps your vehicle interior, your skin, and your belongings safe while adding beautiful aesthetic value to your car. We use XPEL Prime films because of the warranty they offer. We carry XPEL Prime Color Stable (CS), XR & XR Plus. Window film not only allows for more temperate control inside your vehicle but also improves safety. Tempered glass is much harder to break when window film is applied. Tempered glass will not shatter into a million pieces when attached to window film. In the event of an attempt to break a window, the glass fragments adhere to the film, which makes the glass much harder to crack, therefore causing less damage, shattered glass in the event of a broken window or a car accident. With the benefit of glare reduction from the installation of window film, on your windshield and side windows, you’ll have less distraction while driving. This results in a much safer, more enjoyable ride due to less glare resulting in a safer drive. Car tint also helps prevent premature fading and aging of your vehicle’s interior. Whether your interior is plastics or leather, you’ll be better protected from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays by applying window film. It also acts as an anti-aging measure as it blocks the harmful rays that cause skin cancer and sunspots on your arms or face.
